A few weeks ago we had a little bit of fun with Selena Gomez. Through the magic of Photoshop, we dreamed a little bit about how she might poke her own bellybutton. Selena is rising quickly in the music industry. So are Selena navel appearances. Even with her rapidly increasing popularity, the likelihood of the following shot is still pretty phenomenal. First, take a close look at this picture that was taken during the filming of her music video, Slow Down.
The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. First of all, an off camera arm is mysteriously reaching into the shot. Second, the index finger is extended just perfectly. Aside from being out of focus, the size of the arm is just about right. The things that seal the deal are Selena’s expression and the proximity of the arm to her bellybutton. It’s like the benevolent god of celebrity navel poking reached out of the nothingness and bullseyed Selena right where it counts.
